Very quiet place to stay quite close to Old Orchard Beach. Very clean and beds were soft and comfy. Family that owns it is quite friendly and very helpful with good recommendations. Will come back.
Stayed here in September 2019, so pre-plague. This is an old-timey motel, probably built in the 50's or early 60's, so don't expect high-luxury. That said, Admiral was a delightful place to spend the night, on my way to Acadia. Proprietor was very friendly and helpful, even though I arrived well after dark with no reservation. The parking lot was a little tight, because there was a utility crew with their work trucks spending the night. Property has nice view of some marshland. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet, because the building is angled away from the road. Bathroom is small, but functional and everything worked. Would not hesitate to stay there again. (btw - the Holy Donut is just up the road, do not miss!)

Always clean, good prices. I honestly love this place. A great travel stop or place to stay on vacation if your willing to travel 15mins to the beach. Excellent value for your money and most importantly a very clean place! The first time I stopped here was at 2 AM in the morning on a last minute road trip because it was on my route and it was the best discovery ever! I keep coming back year after year (in a planned way now) and I will keep coming back! Sure the place is a bit small but it’s still an Excellent clean place !

The Admiral Motel was very clean and cozy. The staff was friendly as well. The only drawback was the tiny shower. But would definitely stay there again. And they could also place another face towel into the rooms for one.
Cannot find a bad thing to say about this place. Older motel with small rooms but everything has been redone and redone nicely inside and out. We felt like we were at home. So bright and cheerful inside the room with flowers outside the room and benches to sit and enjoy the outdoors. On a hill with a nice view of the marsh. The owner was so helpful and friendly. Very responsive to our every need. Such a wonderful change from the chain hotels. Oh and super clean.

A simple room in a great location, central to any attraction or any beach you are trying to get to. The owners are kind, the surrounding marsh is pretty. Bed is comfortable, linens fresh and crisp. A perfect place to spend a few sightseeing days.

I’ll be staying here until the end of October, and without exaggeration, I can say this has been one of the best stays and one of the best rooms I’ve ever experienced so far. I checked into the Admiral motel in May, and I would like to share this experience with you right away. The room is excellent — spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean, and everything works perfectly. It’s the kind of space where you immediately feel welcome and relaxed. But what truly makes this place extraordinary are the owners. They are incredibly kind, friendly, and always helpful, going out of their way to ensure that every stay is perfect. Every interaction with them reinforces the feeling of being at home, but with a special touch of care and attention that is rare to find. The Admiral motel may be a bit hidden, but that only makes it a true gem — a retreat where every detail has been carefully thought out for the comfort and well-being of guests.
